Easy Recipes For Party Punch
Bombay Punch (Alcoholic)
Ingredients
- 2 cups Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
- Powdered Sugar or Simple Syrup, to taste
- 3 cups Dry Sherry
- 1/3 cup Maraschino
- 1/3 cup Orange Liqueur
- 3 (750-ml) bottles Champagne
- 1 quart Club Soda
- Ice Mold
- 3 cups Brandy
Procedure
- Chill all ingredients well before mixing.
- Sweeten the lemon juice to taste with sugar or simple syrup. Transfer to a punch bowl. Stir in the brandy, sherry, maraschino, and orange liqueur. Add the champagne and club soda last. Stir.
- Float an ice mold. If desired, garnish with slices of orange or lemon. You could make upto forty servings this way.
Floating Island Punch (Non-Alcoholic)
Ingredients
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cups White Sugar
- 1 (12-fluid ounce) can Frozen Lemonade Concentrate
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
- 1 pint Orange Sherbet
- 1 liter Ginger Ale
- 1 liter Carbonated Water
- 1 (4 ounce) jar Maraschino Cherries
- 1 Orange, sliced in rounds
- 4 cups Ice
Procedure
- Bring water to a boil. Add the sugar and boil until it turns into syrup. Let cool.
- In a punch bowl combine lemonade, orange juice, ginger ale, and carbonated water. Mix in the sugar syrup. Add ice and sherbet. Just before serving add cherries and cherry juice and float orange slices on top.
Golden Punch (Non-Alcoholic)
Ingredients
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
- 1 (46 fluid ounce) can Sweetened Pineapple Juice
- 1¾ cups Lemon Juice
- 2 cups White Sugar
- 1 gallon Water
Procedure
- In a 2-gallon punch bowl, combine orange juice concentrate, pineapple juice, lemon juice and sugar. Stir in water.
Mint Julep Punch (Alcoholic)
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mint Jelly
- 4 cups Water
- 1 (750-ml) bottle Bourbon (3¼ cups)
- 6 cups Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 cup Lime Juice
- 7 cups Lemon-Lime Soda
- Ice Mold
Procedure
- Chill all ingredients well before mixing.
- Combine mint jelly and 2 cups of water in a saucepan, stirring over low heat until jelly melts. Cool.
- Add bourbon, pineapple juice, remaining water, and lime juice. Chill.
- To serve, pour mixture over a block of ice in a punch bowl. Slowly pour in soda, stirring gently. Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint leaves, if desired.
