Simple Punch Recipes
Lavender Punch
Ingredients

13 inch stick of Cinnamon

3 tbsp fresh Lavender Flowers or 1 tbsp dry Lavender

1 cup Water

1 Lime (Sliced)

2 cups of bottled Purple Grape juice
-
½ tsp whole Cloves
-
16 oz Limeade concentrate (Can Frozen)

1 one litre bottled Seltzer (Chilled)

Ice cubes
Method

Heat up the water with the cinnamon stick and cloves in a 1 quart saucepan until it has boiled well.

Simmer the spice mixture over a low flame for 5 minutes and then remove the pan. Add the lavender flowers and cover it, and let it stand for 10 minutes to steep.

Now strain the brew into a bowl and get rid of the dregs. Stir in the frozen limeade concentrate until it blends well and add grape juice.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture. Pour the brew into a large pitcher, just before serving.

Add the lime slices and ice to the pitcher and fill it with seltzer or ginger ale and serve immediately.
Apricot Rum Punch

Blue Vodka Punch

Pineapple juice

Orange juice

1 oz Vodka

1 oz Blue Curacao

Gingery Rum Punch
Ingredients

1 large piece of Ginger (Fresh and Chopped)

½ cup Water
-
1 ½ cups of Rum
-
5 cups of Pineapple juice (Unsweetened)

2 litres Grapefruit Soda

½ cup Brown Sugar (Packed)

4-5 cups of Club Soda
Preparation

Chill all the ingredients before mixing them together.

Mix the ginger, water and brown sugar in a saucepan and boil it over high heat.

Lower the heat once the liquid reaches boiling point and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Remove it from the heat and let it cool. Strain the liquid to remove the ginger and then pour the liquid into a punch bowl.

Add the pineapple juice and rum to the bowl. Add the club soda and grapefruit soda just before serving. Serve the punch with crushed ice.
