While different people find different ways to keep the heat at bay, one solution that almost all of them follow is an increase in the consumption of fluids. How To Make Summer Punch
Recipe 1
Ingredients
- 2 liter White Wine, chilled
- 1 liter Club Soda, chilled
- 3 oz Brandy
- 3 oz Orange Liqueur
- 1 cup Strong Tea
- 3 Lemons (juice)
- 2 Limes (juice)
Instructions
- Take a punch bowl and put 2-3 ice cubes in it.
- Add wine, soda, brandy, liqueur and tea to the bowl, followed by lime and lemon juice.
- Your summer punch is ready.
- Garnish with sliced fruit and mint sprigs.
Recipe 2
Ingredients
- 1 can (12-oz) Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate (thawed)
- 1 can (6-oz) Frozen Lemonade (thawed)
- 1 bottle (32-oz) Cranberry Juice Cocktail, chilled
- 1 bottle (2-litre) Lemon-flavored Soft Drink
Instructions
- Get the punch bowl and pour orange juice concentrate and lemonade in it. Mix well.
- Now, stir in cranberry juice cocktail and lemon-flavored soft drink.
- Add ice and your summer punch is ready.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries or other decorative fruit.
Recipe 3
Ingredients
- 2 liters Lemon-flavored Soft Drink
- 1/2 cup Water
- 3 tsp Lime Juice
- 335 ml Frozen Orange Juice
- 335 ml Frozen Pineapple Juice
- Pint of Cranberry Juice
Instructions
- Get the punch bowl and put the orange juice and pineapple juice in it.
- Add 3 quarters of soft drink to the bowl, followed by lemon juice and water.
- Making use of a hand blender, puree the orange and pineapple juices together.
- When the drink becomes smooth, add a pint of cranberry juice.
- Your summer punch is ready. Garnish it with fruit slices.
Recipe 4
Ingredients
- 3 cups Fresh Strawberries, halved
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 bottle (4/5 qt.) Riesling or Chablis (chilled)
- 1 cup Vermouth (optional)
- 1 qt. Lemon/Grapefruit Flavored Soda or Club Soda (chilled)
- Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in the freezer and let them get thoroughly chilled.
- Get the punch bowl and put strawberries in it.
- Sprinkle the sugar over the strawberries, until evenly coated.
- Pour wine, vermouth and chilled soda in the bowl.
- Add ice cubes.
- Your summer punch is ready.
- Garnish it with mint sprigs.
Recipe 5
- 2 (3 oz.) pkgs. Strawberry Gelatin
- 2 cups Boiling Water
- 2 (12 oz.) cans Frozen Lemonade, slightly thawed
- 3 (28 oz.) bottles Ginger Ale
- Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Now, stir in lemonade, followed by ginger ale.
- Let it cool down a bit and add ice cubes.
- Your summer punch is ready.
- Garnish it with mint sprigs.
