Easy Buffalo Sauce Recipes

Buffalo Wing Sauce Secret Recipe

  • 2 cups of Dry Cayenne Peppers (50 Grams)
  • ½ cup of Water
  • 1/3 cup of chopped Onion
  • 1 chopped Garlic
  • 1/3 cup chopped Tomato
  • ½ cup of White Vinegar
  • 1 stick of Butter
  • 1 bottle of Lousiana Hot Sauce
  • ½   juice of 1Lemon
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • Over a medium high flame, roast the cayenne peppers on a clean pan.
  • Toss them around inside the pan for a couple of minutes. Make sure you don't let the contents in the pan get burned. Bring the water to a boil after you add enough water to cover the peppers.
  • Let them cook for ten minutes. Drain water and place them in a blender.
  • Add ½ cup of water, ½ cup of vinegar and salt. Blend on high and allow to percolate.
  • Place the butter stick on a pan over a medium flame and wait for it to melt.
  • Add onion, garlic, tomato and the whole bottle of ‘Louisiana hot sauce’.
  • Stir it occasionally and let all cook for about five minutes.
  • Immediately pour into blender and add the percolated cayenne pepper sauce. Blend on high for two minutes.
  • Add the lemon juice, honey and ketchup, and blend again for a few seconds.
  • Pour back into the pan where you melted the butter, and let it simmer for a good 20 minutes.

Recipe For Bourbon Cherry Sauce (Used In Minted Buffalo Wings)

  • ¾ cup of frozen Cherries thawed with juice
  • 4 tbsp Sweet Butter
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Pineapple Coconut juice
  • zest of half of a Lemon
  • 4 Mint leaves
  • 4 oz of Bourbon
  • A few grinds of fresh ground Black Pepper 
  • Add the butter and melt on medium high heat in a saucepan.
  • Add the cherries and the pineapple coconut juice and reduce until it coats the back of a spoon.
  • Add the zest and then the sugar and cinnamon and reduce for another minute.
  • Add the Bourbon and light it.
  • Let it reduce again until it is of the desired consistency as pancake syrup. Set aside.
  • Drain the cherry mixture through a strainer and return the sauce back to the pan.
  • Add some sauce and make a fun design with it.

Sizzling Hot Sauce Recipe

  • 1 stick Butter
  • 4 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 5 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • ¼  tsp Garlic
  • ¼ tsp Onion powder
  • ¼ tsp White Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano (fresh or dried)
  • A dash of Beer


  • Melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat in a small saucepan on stovetop.
  • Add tomato sauce into mixture.
  • Finally, add garlic, onion powder, white pepper, chilli powder, salt, and oregano.
  • Add a dash of beer for enhanced taste.
  • Stir over low heat until mixture is well blended.
  • Toss sauce liberally over chicken wings.
  • Serve buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing, and celery sticks!
