Wreaths
 
What You Will Need 
  • Around 8 to 10 pine cones
  • Duct tape
  • A wire hanger
  • Craft glue
  • Wire cutters
  • Scissors
  • Decorative items for the wreath
 
How To Make It
 
  • Cut the wire hanger in half and wind it into a circle. Wind the two ends securely together.
  • Use duct tape to firmly attach both ends of the wire hanger firmly together.
  • Glue the pinecones on to the wire.
  • Use decorative items to make the wreaths look beautiful. You could try things such as green ribbons and red beads to add holly berries.
  • You could also use paints to add more color and make the pinecones look more vibrant. 
Turkey Crafts
 
What You Will Need 
  • An acorn
  • A pine cone
  • A pencil or a marker
  • Red, orange, brown and yellow construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Googly eyes
  • Clay 
How To Make It 
  • Cut the colored construction paper into feathers.
  • Make a small blob of clay and allow the pinecone to rest on it.
  • Attach the cutout construction feathers to the wide side of the cone.
  • Place the acorn at the other end. You can fix it with glue.
  • Attach the googly eyes to the acorn.
  • Make the turkey’s wattle using a bit of the red construction paper.
 
Bird Feeder
 
What You Will Need 
  • A big, open pine cone
  • Bird seed
  • A few feet of string
  • A mixture of margarine and peanut butter 
How To Make It 
  • Tie the pinecone to the string by fixing the string on to the pinecone and then tying it around the top of the cone a bit.
  • Make a loop to hang the cone.
  • Take a paper towel and place the pinecone on top of it.
  • Spread the peanut butter mixture over the edges of the cone using the butter knife.
  • Sprinkle the birdseed all over the pinecone until the pinecone is fully covered.
