Christmas, is the most important festival of Christians across the globe. The festival commemorates the event when Christ came to this world, in order to bless people and rid them of their sins. As the month of December starts, people start shopping for things like gifts, cards, ornaments, and so on. In fact, cards serve as the most popular medium of wishing your near and dear ones on Christmas. Since the holiday celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, it is most appropriate if you add some Christmas verses from the Bible to a card, before giving it to someone. For God so loved the world,

that He gave His only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in Him

should not perish but have everlasting life.

 

And suddenly there was the angel,

a multitude of the heavenly host,

praising God and saying:

"Glory to God in the highest."

 

All kings shall pay Him homage,

all nations shall serve Him.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

 

And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth

 

And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy–the Son of God.

 

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
