Steamed Crab Legs Recipe
Supplies Required
- Steamer/ Large Pot
- 3 cups Water
- 1 tsp Seasoning Salt
- Crab Legs
- Wire Rack
- Melted Butter/ Cocktail Sauce
Instructions
- First of all, take a steamer or large pot and pour 3 cups of water in it.
- Add salt and let the water come to boil.
- In the meantime, thaw the crab legs well.
- After the water starts boiling, add thawed crab legs to the steamer basket and cover.
- In case you are making use of a large pot, place the thawed crab legs in a wire rack and then cover the pot.
- After cover the steamer/large pot, let the crab legs steam for 5 to 7 minutes.
- The moment you get the aroma of freshly steamed crabs, it means that the crab legs are almost done.
- After 1-2 minutes, remove crab legs from the steamer/large pot and serve with melted butter or cocktail sauce.
