How To Make Lashes Longer

Everybody wants to look beautiful and having longer, thicker eyelashes would surely complement your beauty further. Beautiful eyelashes help your eyes immensely, making them look dramatic, to say the least. Although some people do have naturally long eyelashes but unfortunately, some do not. However, there are a number of things you can do to improve your eyelashes. Read on to find out how to make your lashes longer.

First of all, you need to determine what your lashes need. Most of the women have lashes that are either a little too short or thin to their liking, although some of the lucky ones do have naturally beautiful eyelashes.
Choosing the right kind of mascara can make all the difference in the world. These days one can get mascaras that are especially made to prevent clumping (bunching up of the lashes, together). There are even water-proof mascaras available which can really be helpful in different situations.
If you want to add body to your mascara, then you can get some sort of simple thickening mascara. But, on the other hand, if you want longer lashes, then try lengthening mascaras. Even if you have natural long lashes, adding lengthening mascara can give a beautiful curling effect to your eyelashes.
You can also use an eyelash curler. You can use a curler to make your lashes appear more spectacular, but remember to do so before applying mascara.
Try laying down a base if you can, before you apply mascara. By base we simply mean that you can first apply clear mascara, and then apply your chosen color over that base when it ultimately dries out.
Alternatively, what you can also do is apply a light layer of powder onto your lashes before applying a second coat (if you apply one).
Using a lash primer or conditioner is also a great way to get longer, beautiful lashes. This is so because, inherently, your eyelashes are made up of hair after all. So, applying some good quality conditioner is sure to make them more beautiful.
If you do not really want to go through all the steps we have mentioned, then you can simply get false eyelashes. False eyelashes, if applied properly are an easy and very inexpensive way to lengthen your lashes. All you need to do is choose the length and color that suits you and experiment with a few brands and finally choose one.
Eyelash extensions can be another way of getting longer lashes. If you can afford extensions, then go ahead and use them as the eyelash extensions are a beautiful, natural way to enhance your lashes.

Tips

It is always preferable to use mineral-based make-up remover to remove false eyelashes.
Remember that your eyelashes are just a small part of your appearance. So, do not go overboard with them.
You can use an eyelash comb to take care of your eyelashes. Like we said earlier, even your eyelashes are hair and they too need care.
