The biggest manufacturer of two-wheelers in India, the Hero Honda Motors Ltd (HHML) recently added another jewel to its 100cc motorcycle range, the Hero Honda Splendor Plus. Launched in a very limited edition, the Hero Honda Splendor + can be purchased at Rs 41,250 from the company’s showrooms. The idea behind introducing Splendor Plus by the Hero Honda company is to celebrate the sales of two crore bike units in the country since its origin in 1982.

 

It is learnt that the Hero Honda Company will produce only 50,000 units of this limited edition variant of Splendor Plus. The prominent features of this bike is its black body and silver mono tone stripes. Other highlights are its black five spoke alloy wheels, a black engine and fine chain cover. The OHC engine generates power of 5.5 Kw at 8000 rpm. Running with the highest speed of 90 km/h, this bike is designed to give full satisfaction during longer hauls.

 

The wide 1230mm wheelbase of the Splendor Plus makes for a safe ride. What’s more? The Hero Honda Splendor Plus also flaunts a “Special Edition” sticker on both the right and left side covers. One can choose a bike from an array of eye catching hues like Candy Tahitian Blue, Hi Performance Red, Blue Blaze Metallic, Cloud Silver Metallic, Chilli Green, Hi Granite Blue, Tornado Grey, Black with Blue Silver Stripe, Black Calliper Yellow and Black Old Stripe.
