How To Make Turkish Coffee
 
Turkish Coffee With Cardamom
 
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Coffee (Finely Grounded and Powdered)
  • 1 cup Water
  • Sugar (Optional)
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Cardamom
Preparation
  • Bring water and sugar to boil in a water heater or in a saucepan.
  • Remove the sugar water from heat and add coffee and cardamom.
  • Put the saucepan back on heat and allow it to come to boil. Remove from heat when coffee foams.
  • Pour into individual cups and allow it to set for a while for few minutes, so that the sediments settle down.
Turkish Coffee Recipe With Ouzo
 
Ingredients
  • 1 tsp Ouzo
  • 2-3 oz Water
  • 2 tsp of Greek Coffee
  • 2 tsp Sugar
Preparation
  • Boil the water. When it comes to boil, add sugar and remove from heat.
  • Add Greek coffee and bring back to boil, till the coffee foams out.
  • Once the coffee is done, add ouzo to it and serve hot.
Turkish Coffee Recipe With Milk
 
Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tsp Ground Turkish Coffee
  • 1 cup Cold Water
  • Sugar as per taste
Preparation
  • Add water and milk to a coffee pot and bring it to boil over medium heat.
  • Remove the pot from heat and add Turkish ground Coffee into the pot, along with desired amount of sugar.
  • Allow the mixture to boil, until you see froth appearing on the top of the pot.
  • Remove the pot from heat and let the froth subside. Bring it back on flame and let it boil once more till the froth reappears.
  • Pour it into small cups and wait for a minute before serving, for the coffee grounds to settle down.
Turkish Coffee Recipe With Cognac
 
Ingredients
  • 2 tsp Ground Turkish Coffee
  • 1 tsp Cognac
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Cold Water
Preparation
  • Bring the water to boil. Remove the pot from heat and add freshly grounded Turkish coffee, along with sugar.
  • Place the pot on flame and allow the coffee to come to boil.
  • Once you see froth appearing, remove the pot from flame, until the froth settles down and put the pot back again to boil after that.
  • Add cognac after boiling the coffee two times, before pouring it into small cups.
  • Wait for 1 minute before serving, for the sediments to settle at the bottom.
Turkish Coffee With Honey
 
Ingredients
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 cup Cold Water
  • 2 tsp Turkish Coffee
Preparation
  • Bring the water to boil.
  • Once boiled, remove the pot from heat and add freshly grounded Turkish coffee.
  • Place the pot once again on the flame and allow the coffee to come to boil.
  • Once you are done with brewing your coffee, add honey to it before serving.
Turkish Coffee With Whiskey
 
Ingredients
  • 1 tsp Whisky
  • 2 tsp Turkish Coffee
  • Cold Water
  • 2 tsp Sugar (Optional)
Preparation
  • Bring the water to boil. After boiling, remove it from heat and add Turkish coffee and whisky.
  • Whisky is added in the early stages for the alcohol to evaporate while brewing, to have less alcohol taste at the end.
  • Bring the coffee to boil for 2 to 3 times.
  •  Pour into small cups and wait for a minute before serving.  This would allow the sediments to settle at the bottom.
