Like any other Scandinavian country, Sweden also boasts of a cuisine that is traditionally simple. The dishes are prepared with all local ingredients. Although the methods of cooking most dishes is time consuming, but the end result is surely worth it. One can distinguish Swedish cuisine from that of its neighbors, Finland and Norway, as its dishes are often sweetened. Swedish meatballs, commonly known as kottbullar, represent one such Swedish recipe. They are made from beef and pork, which are first grounded and then mixed with different ingredients to form balls. They are served with gravy, boiled potatoes, lingonberry jam or even fresh pickled cucumbers (sometimes). Read through the following lines to know the recipe for preparing Swedish meatballs.
