Raw Chicken 
  • First of all, you need to skin the chicken.
  • Thereafter, you will have to remove its bones.
  • Taking a sharp knife, chop the meat until it becomes fine.
  • Alternatively, you can put the skinned, boneless chicken in a blender
  • Mince or blend the chicken until it attains the required consistency 
Cooked Chicken 
  • In case of cooked chicken also, you need to remove the bones.
  • Lay the chicken on a flat surface.
  • Take two forks and, with their back sides facing each other, insert the prongs into the center of a portion of meat.
  • Gently pull the forks away from each other.
  • As you pull the forks, the chicken will break into thin strips.
  • Continue with the process until the entire piece of chicken gets shredded. 
Shredded Chicken Recipes
Shredded Chicken Hamburger
  • 5 pounds Chicken, boneless and skinless
  • 1 Onion Soup
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Soup Base
  • Water
  • 20 Hamburger Buns
  • Onions, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves  
  • Preheat the oven to about 350º F.
  • Once heated, place the bowl containing chicken in it.
  • Now, in a bowl, mix together dry onion soup, black pepper and concentrated chicken soup base.
  • When all the ingredients have been properly mixed, pour the soup base mixture over chicken.
  • Now, add water to the pan, enough to cover half of the chicken.
  • Let it bake for about four hours, on the temperature above mentioned.
  • When the chicken easily pulls apart, know for sure that it has been baked.
  • Allow the meat to cool, before staring the shredding process.
  • Skim any excess fat off the remaining juices.
  • Now, add the shredded chicken to remaining juices and reheat for serving.
  • In the meantime, cut the hamburger bun into two parts and fill with the chicken content. Top it with onions and lettuce.

Shredded Chicken Tacos
  • 2 lbs boneless Chicken Thighs
  • 1 large White Onion, peeled and quartered
  • 5 cloves Garlic, peeled and lightly crushed
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cummin
  • 1 Chili
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Taco
  • Taco Toppings (guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, lettuce, beans etc)
  • Take a saucepan and combine all the ingredients in it. Add enough water so that the chicken is covered.
  • Now, apply high heat to the saucepan, until the ingredients boil. If foam comes onto the surface, skim it away.
  • Partially cover the saucepan and reduce the heat. Allow the mixture to simmer.
  • Cook for about 30 minutes, until the meat gets tender.
  • Now, remove from the heat and allow the liquid to cool down.
  • Once cooled, shred the chicken meat with your fingers.
  • Adjust seasoning as required.
  • Serve it with tacos. You can also garnish it with taco toppings.
