How To Get Rid Of Bumps 
  • As and when you find a bump, steer clear of oily food, chocolates, soda pop and potato chips.
  • Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.
  • Don’t wash your face rigorously, especially the acne areas, because it can cause more blemishes.
  • Never prick pimples, for if you do so, it will lead to scars.
  • Use of soaps, cleansers and scrubs can irritate and redden the area. So , try to avoid them.
  • Make it a habit to wash your face thrice a day and apply calamine lotion on the pimples.
  • Use apple cider vinegar as a facial wash, just before getting into the bed, at night.
  • Mix nutmeg, pepper and a little water, to form a paste. Apply on the pimples, let it dry and then wash it off.
  • You can also use pure lemon juice as a face wash. Simply cut a lemon, squeeze the fruit and wash your face with the juice.
  • Heat honey slightly and mix with gram flour, to form a paste. Apply to your face and let it dry. Rinse later.
  • Take 10 grams of white onion juice and mix it with 5 grams honey and 1 gram rock salt. Apply this mixture on the pimples.
  • Another medication can be made by adding two teaspoons of Basil to a cup of boiling water. Let the mixture cool down and then apply.
  • Take equal quantities of rice, poppy seeds and almonds and grind them to a paste. Mix the paste with 2 tablespoons of curd and apply onto your face. Let it dry for 10 minutes and then wash it off.
  • Grind mint leaves to a paste. Apply the paste on the pimples and leave it overnight. This will help in easing the pimples and clear up other blemishes also.
  • One more medication could be made by mixing 1½ tablespoons of honey and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, into a paste. Before retiring to the bed, this paste can be applied to the affected area. Make sure to wash the mixture with warm water, in the morning.
  • You can also apply egg white on the affected area for about 20 minutes until dried, and then wash it off.
  • Apply an ice pack on the pimples and hold it for about 2 minutes. This will decrease the swelling and redness of the pimples and help shrink the inflammation and pain in the acne.
  • You can apply toothpaste, not the gel type, on the pimples and let it dry off. Then wash your face.
