Honda 8th Generation Accord

The premium segment of Indian automobile market is all set to witness the entry of a new set of hot wheels. Honda Siel Car India, one of the leading manufacturers of luxury cars in India, has announced the unveiling of the premium, the suave - 8^th Generation Accord, in the country. The new generation of Honda Accord involves a complete redesigning of the previous one and comes with a larger wheel-base, apart from much more advanced and powerful exterior styling. The new model will be available in three types, in both Automatic and Manual transmission, Accord 2.4, Accord 2.4 Elegance and Accord 2.4 Inspire.

Amongst the other revisions of 8^th Generation Accord are its length and width, which have been increased by 80 mm and 25 mm, respectively. The new Honda Accord has been fitted with 2.4 litre i-VTEC engine, which promises to provide power of 180 ps. With this, it has achieved a fuel efficiency of over 8%, above that of the previous model of Honda Accord.

 

The 8^th Generation Honda Accord is not only good on performance, but also great for the environment. It meets Euro-IV emission levels and is also E-10 (10% ethanol and 90% unleaded petrol) compatible. The 5-speed Manual Transmission and 5-speed Automatic transmission, with Paddle shift, that come with the automobile are sure to make your ride a thrilling one, probably comparable to the exhilarating experience of F-1 racing. The new Accord also has Shift Holding System, which will allow you to avoid the tiring process of shifting gears, on winding roads.

 

The renewal of the chassis as well as the body, through the use of Honda’s latest technology, promises to provide you with class handling.
