Homemade Birthday Cake Recipes
Humming Bird Cake
Ingredients

4 cups Flour

3 cups Sugar

11/2 tbsp baking Soda

1 tbsp Salt

1 tbsp Cinnamon

1 tbsp Nutmeg

3 cups Bananas (chopped)

1 ½ cups Nuts (lightly toasted and finely minced)

2 cups Vegetable oil
-
3 Eggs (slightly beaten)

1- 8 ounce can Pineapple (crushed and undrained)

1 can Cream Cheese Frosting (optional)
Method

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Take a Bundt pan and grease it.

Take a large mixing bowl and add all the ingredients, except the frosting. Take a wire whisk and beat all the ingredients thoroughly to make a smooth batter. Make sure no lumps are formed.

Pour the whole batter into the pan.

Bake the cake for one hour or until done.

Allow it to cool for 30 minutes by placing it on a rack.

German Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease and flour a round cake pan.

Take a large mixing bowl, and add flour, baking soda, and salt to it.

Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave for three minutes. Alternatively, you can also melt it using a pan on the stove.

Scrape chocolate in a mixing bowl and add sugar to it.

Combine eggs to it. Blend it all together to make a smooth batter.

Add a few drops of vanilla essence.

Add the flour.

Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth paste.

Pour the mix into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until done. You can insert a toothpick to check if it is done. If the toothpick comes out clean, your cake is done.
