Except that the kid won’t collapse with the pat of your hand. On the contrary, the pat may be interpreted as an invitation to another round of hyper child play. More importantly, a child yearns for your participation and cooperation. In that retrospect, it is imperative that a parent encourages a child to play games that are cleverly designed to educate a kid and stimulate his or her locomotor skills. A parent and child spending quality time via a fun game is the ideal way of spurring a durable bond. Kiddie games are addictive, stimulating and easy to get the hang of. Every parent has a wide variety of games to choose from and can spare the kid the boredom or monotony of one game. Common Fun Games For Kids

Hide and Seek

This is a game that has clearly survived the test of time. You wouldn’t be able to remember the day you started playing hide and seek because it feels like a ritual you’ve been born with. First you pick someone to be the “denner” who has to count till ten or twenty with their eyes closed at the "base", while the rest of the players hide. The denner has to call out -"Ready or Not, Here I Come" and rushes in search of his or her prey. Then the people try to get to base without getting tagged or else they are labelled the next denner.

Jail Break  

Ask the children to arbitrarily choose someone to count one o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock rock, to twelve o'clock rock and finally- midnight! During this counting period, the rest of the players find inconspicuous places to hide. He or she attempts to find the hidden participants. When someone is tagged, they go to jail. The children, who are not tagged, try to step on jail and this will cause a jailbreak. The others are free. The last person to be trapped in jail has to begin counting with eyes closed for the second round of jailbreak.

Honey Do you Love Me?

All players conventionally form a circle around one player who is positioned in the exact centre. This middle person is expected to launch the question "Honey, do you love me?" at players that constitute the circle. The person being questioned must answer, "Honey, I love you but I just can't smile." However, the catch in this game lies in the possibility that the respondent may smile or laugh. Under these circumstances, the word hypocrite replaces the middle person who immediately joins the circle. The middle person is not allowed to touch other players but may make as many funny faces as s/he wishes.

Capture the Flag

Form two teams. The first team occupies the front yard while the second, the back yard. Alternatively, the field could be appropriately divided between the two teams. Each team shall be allotted around five minutes to hide their flag in their part of the yard. During this period, spies may or may not be sent scurrying around to locate the spot where the flag is hidden as well as look-outs to catch the spies of the other team. The motive here is to get the other teams flag. If you get caught and tagged by the opponent on their territory you end up in jail and can only be rescued by a teammate who sneaks out the captured when the opponents are looking elsewhere. The first team to capture the flag wins!
