In the new Chevrolet Captiva, the 2.0 liter four cylinder 150PS diesel is the very first one in an all-new group of diesel engines. The engine churns out a maximum power of 150 PS @ 4000 rpm with a peak torque of 320 Nm @ 2000 rpm. It features SOHC (Single Over Head Camshaft). In fact, this diesel engine is the result of collaboration between GM Powertrain and GMDAT along with the Italian firm, VM Motori. It has aluminum cylinder heads, modish injection systems as well as an alterable geometry turbocharger for an even turbo intervention from low rev / acceleration levels.
