The Chevrolet Optra has launched brand new range of mid-size sedan - Optra Magnum. The car comes with the options of petrol and diesel engine. Under the hood of the diesel variants of Chevrolet Optra Magnum lies a powerful TCDi (Turbo Common rail Direct Injection) engine, which churns out a power of 121 PS at 3000 rpm, with a peak torque of 314 Nm at 2125 rpm. The engine features a Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC). On the other hand, the petrol variants of the car are equipped with 1.6 liter VGIS (Variable Geometry Intake System) engine, which pumps out a power of 203 bhp at 5800 rpm and a maximum torque of 148 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The petrol engine comes with a Double Overhead Camshaft (DOHC). Both the engines are mated to 5-speed transmission.

The introductory price of the sedan is Rs 8.05 lakh (approx). The Chevrolet Optra Magnum is available in seven stunning colors like Icy Blue, Blazing Red, Platinum Metallic, Casablanca White, Cashmere, Sparkling Diamond and Intense Black.
