Normal Skin
Normal skin is characterized by fine texture along with a smooth and supple surface. Since it boasts of balance of oil and moisture contents, such skin is slightly moist, rather than greasy or dry. Besides its clear look, normal skin does not build up spots and blemishes. Skin pores are usually fine and hardly visible. Normal skin is a sign of good health and requires gentle treatment.

Dry Skin
With a tendency to flake easily, Dry skin appears a little dehydrated and parched.  Owing to its incapability to retain moisture and scarce production of sebum, such skin is likely to get wrinkles and lines. Dry skin often poses problems in cold weather when cold winds drape the atmosphere. Regular care and protection of dry skin is really important, or else it will make person look older. It constantly requires moisturizing.

Oily Skin
Oily skin is marked by the over secretion of sebum. Excess of oil on the skin surface not only draws dirt and dust but also makes the skin prone to black heads, white heads, spots, pimples etc. Oily skin never appears clear. After regular intervals, such skin is required to be cleansed thoroughly.

Combination Skin
Combination skin is perhaps the most common skin type. As the name suggests, it is a combination of oily and dry skin in a way that certain areas of the face are oily and the rest of them are dry. Generally the central greasy panel (T-Zone) comprises the forehead, nose and chin, while the dry panel consists of cheeks and areas around the mouth and eyes. Such skin is treated according to the respective areas.

Sensitive Skin

Usually, sensitive skin has a fine texture. It is very sensitive to the changes in weather. Regarding any treatment either medical or beauty, one has to be extra careful with such skin. Extra care is to be taken while applying cosmetics on sensitive skin.
