The standard size in which they are available is 11 by 11 inches wide with a roll containing 60 sheets and one ply thick. These paper towels are thin and therefore less absorbing which makes it necessary for you to use more. It is usually used in kitchens to wipe out stains, but can also come handy in wiping mirrors, windows and hard surfaces. They can very well be used as alternatives to napkins.

 

Scott fold paper towels are 1 ply towels that come in 12.4 inch length sheets. Scott fold towels are folded into half which makes them different from c-fold paper towels and multi-fold paper towels that have more than a single fold. These paper towels act as cost-saving substitutes for c-fold and multi-fold paper towels, and therefore are more popular than multi-fold or c-fold towels.
