Poems For My Husband

Since the time a girl gets married and till the time she leaves for the holy abode, her husband remains the most important person in her life. He is the one with whom she can talk about anything under the sun and be herself completely. A husband accepts you for what you are, with all the plus as well as the minus points. However, it is seen very often that within a few years of marriage, a couple starts taking each other for granted. Though they know how important their partner is in their life, they fail to express the same. If ever two were one, then surely we.

If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee.

If ever wife was happy in a man,

Compare with me, ye women, if you can.

My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,

Nor ought but love from thee give recompense.

Thy love is such I can in no way repay;

A whisper to my ears,

Pure and pleasant to hear!

The sparkle of Your eyes…

Are as glitter

Enlightening me-showing me

True Love!

The smell of Your body…

Excites and makes me hunger and

Thirst for thee!

Your lips…

Taste as sweet as honey,

Touching my very soul!

Your touch…

Hot as a burning flame,

Seeking to devour me!

Loving me and only me!!

I said a prayer for you today.

I just took a moment to say,

With heartfelt thankfulness,

How much I know I’m blessed

With the love so deep and true

That I receive from you.

It may not always show,

But darling, I always know

That God gave you to me

And I will ever be

A grateful, loving wife

All throughout my life.

I love you with all my heart

And we will never part.

I know this love will last.

And so a day will never pass

In which I cannot say:

I said a prayer for you today.
