Natural Cleaning Recipes

If we were to analyse our expenses, we would find out that we spend an alarming amount of time and money on products that help clean better. The worst part of the deal is, we tend to think, the more expensive the product is, the, better it will help us in cleaning. What we do not realize is that all these products are manufactured from chemicals that could harm our appliances and utensils, etc in the long run. Also, if we have children at home, they would be most affected by the use of such products. This is where natural cleaning products come into the picture. Many of them are easy to make and can be prepared at home from stuff that we run into every day. Read on to know more about how to prepare cleaning solutions at home from natural substances. You must keep in mind, however that these solutions should be labeled and kept out of reach of children and pets.

 

 

Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle used previously. Shake to dissolve and blend the minerals. Spray onto the affected surface and leave for 15 minutes or so before wiping with a clean rag or sponge. Not only does this recipe clean but it also disinfects; the detergent-like substances will clean and the essential oils will disinfect and give a fresh fragrance. 

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle. Shake well before each use. Spray generously on appliance surface and wipe with a damp cloth or sponge. To get the best results spray on the appliance and keep for twenty to thirty minutes before wiping with a clean cry cloth. Wipe dry with a cloth or towel. 

Recipe for Disinfectant Spray

Directions:
Combine all ingredients and store in a spray bottle. Shake occasionally and especially before each use to re-mix the ingredients. Use wherever a disinfectant spray is needed. Allow to dry completely. 

Recipe for Pest Control Dough

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together to make thick dough. Take a small amount of dough and roll between hands to make small balls. Take a few small dough balls and place them in a sandwich bag. Place bag in out of the way areas to keep out of reach of children and small pets.
