How To Make Mai Tai
Recipe 1
  • 1 ounce Dark Rum
  • 1 ounce Light Rum
  • 2 ounce Orange Juice
  • ½ ounce Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Orange Curacao
  • Orgeat
  • Bar Syrup
  • Cheery & Pineapple Slice (for garnishing)
  • Combine dark rum, light rum, orange juice, lime juice and orange curacao in a highball glass which contains ice cubes.
  • Add a dash of bar syrup and orgeat to the above mixture.
  • Garnish with a cherry and a pineapple slice. Serve cold.
Recipe 2
  • 1 measure Rum
  • 1 measure Orange Curacao
  • ½ measure Orgeat Almond Syrup
  • ½ measure Rock Candy Syrup
  • 1 Lime (de-seeded and freshly squeezed)
  • This is the recipe of the original version of mai tai. For this, all you need to do is combine all ingredients together and serve on the rocks.

  • 1 ounce Dark Rum
  • 1 ounce White Rum
  • 1 ounce Gold Rum
  • ½ ounce Orange Curacao
  • 1 Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • ½ ounce Almond syrup
  • Cherry & Pineapple Slice
  • Crushed Ice
  • Take a cocktail shaker and pour all the ingredients in it. Mix all ingredients together.
  • Use crushed ice, cherries and pineapple slice for garnishing.

  • 2 cups White Rum
  • 1 cup Dark Rum
  • 1 cup Proof Rum
  • 1 cup Orange Curacao
  • 1 cup Bar Syrup
  • 1 cup Almond Syrup
  • 10 Lime (freshly squeezed)
  • ½ cup Fresh Orange Juice
  • Crushed Ice
  • Combine all the ingredients, except the orange juice, in a drink cooler.
  • Now shake the cooler so that the ingredients mix well. Using a drink cooler has two purposes. While the concoction is being made, your drink is also getting chilled.
  • Once mixed, add fresh orange juice and mix again.
  • Serve in glasses filled half with crushed ice.

  • 16 ounces Dark Rum
  • 8 ounces White Rum
  • 8 ounces Triple Sec
  • 30 ounces Orange Juice
  • 32 ounces Pineapple Juice
  • 24 ounces Sweet & Sour Mix
  • Crushed Ice
  • Fruit Slices (for garnishing) 
  • Combine all the ingredients in a large cocktail shaker and mix well.
  • Serve the drink in glasses filled half with crushed ice.
  • Do not forget to use wedges of fruits on the glass while serving.
