Easy Maple Chicken Recipes 
Maple Orange Chicken

Preparation Time: 55 min
Serves: 4
  • 1 Whole Chicken cut in quarters (3 pound)
  • 1 Fresh Orange (zest and ¼ cup juice)
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup or 4 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Preheat the oven to about 400°F and line the baking pan with non stick butter paper or line it with butter and dust with flour.
  • Place a baking rack in the pan and put the chicken quarters (skin side down) on the pan.
  • Take out the orange zest with a grater and get the juice out too.
  • Whisk the orange zest, orange juice, butter, maple syrup, onion powder, salt, thyme and pepper together.
  • Take this mixture and brush it over the chicken making sure you cover even the skin side down.
  • Roast the chicken (uncovered) with the mixture for about 20 min and after this, remove from the oven and cook covered with foil for 15 min.
  • Serve hot!
Ginger Maple Chicken

Preparation Time: 90 min
Serves: 6
  • 2 ½ lb Chicken Drumsticks
  • ½ cup Maple Syrup
  • ½ cup Flour
  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsp Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Dry Sherry
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Green Onions (minced)
  • Take a large mixing bowl and combine the chicken and flour together. Toss to mix well and shake off the excess.
  • Heat about 2 tbsp of oil and let it stay on medium heat. When hot enough, cook the chicken for about 5 minutes. Keep adding oil as you go along.
  • Fry till golden brown. Then arrange the chicken in a single layer on the baking dish. Leave aside.
  • Take a smaller bowl and whisk the remaining ingredients except the green onions and pour it evenly over the chicken.
  • Bake for 30 min at 325° F. After this time, turn the chicken over and bake for another 45 min.
  • Serve hot with sliced green onions!
