Animal conservation has lately been one of the important concerns globally. With more and more animals falling into the endangered category, there is world wide awareness to save these species. Endangered species refers to a population of animals that is inching closer to extinction day by day, due to changing environmental conditions or predation limitations. World Conservation union (IUCN) has listed as much as 40 percent of the animal species in the present world as endangered. Another organization working in this regard is U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), a prestigious organization dedicated to the management and preservation of wildlife in the United States of America.

USFWS monitors a record of the endangered, vulnerable and critically endangered species of animals. It has designed laws as well, in order to protect threatened and endangered species from extinction.
