Leave it inside for two to three days, so that the chemical absorbs the rotten smell inside the microwave oven. Take out the bowl, containing baking soda, after the period. You will find your microwave oven free of stinking smell! If you still find that the odor is not removed completely, keep the bowl inside it for a few more days.
