Homemade Frosting Recipes
Rappers Frosting
  • Chocolate Bar
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • ½ cup Milk
  • Boil chocolate bar, milk and butter in a saucepan. Mix all the ingredients properly and make sure that the mixture is uniform.
  • Turn off the burner and let the mixture cool.
  • Refrigerate the mixture in a bowl.
  • Later, add some more milk and whip vigorously so that the frost is created.
Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1 packet Cream Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • Using a blender, beat the butter and cream cheese.
  • Add sugar and lemon zest and beat again.
  • Your frosting is ready. You can use it on cupcakes and cookies.
Peanut Butter Frosting
  • ½ cup Peanut Butter
  •  2 tbsp Butter
  •  ½ cup Milk

  • Heat milk, butter and sugar in a saucepan until the butter melts.
  • Add peanut butter and vanilla in the mixture. Mix until the consistency is smooth.

Coconut Frosting
  • 1 cup Sugar
  •  1 tbsp Cream of Tartar or White Corn Syrup
  •  3 Egg Whites
  •  1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  •  Pinch of Salt
  •  1 tbsp Coconut Extract
  •  ½ cup Coconut Water
  • 1 cup Grated Coconut
  • Mix sugar, cream of tartar, salt, egg whites and coconut water in a saucepan. In a separate vessel, boil water on a high flame.
  • Place the saucepan over the vessel containing water and blend the mixture properly for 6 minutes with the help of a blender. It is essential that the mixture be blended over a water bath.
  • Remove from the flame. Mix vanilla and coconut extract in it and again beat constantly for a minute with the help of a blender.
  • Now that the frost is ready, cool it and use it later for frosting the cake.
  • Sprinkle grated coconut after each layering of the frost to enhance the coconut flavor.
Caramel Frosting
  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • ½ cup Milk
  • Pinch of Salt
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  •  ½ tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • Take brown sugar, butter, milk and salt in a saucepan and boil it.
  • Once boiled, take it off the flame and let it cool.
  • Add sugar and vanilla extract and beat smoothly until the consistency is thick enough.
