Royal Golf Club (Kolkata)

Royal Golf Club is the favorite haunt of the upper class of Kolkata. The 18-hole golf course has a Par of 72 and was constructed in the year 1829. It holds the distinction of being the first golf club to be built outside Great Britain. Since then, it has been counted amongst the top notch golf courses in India. Bombay Presidency Golf Club (Mumbai)

Bombay Presidency Golf Club is counted amongst the oldest golf courses of the country. The golf course boasts of 18 holes, with a Par of 70/72. It is situated in the suburbs of Mumbai and has an "elephant pit" hazard on the 16th hole. Bombay Presidency Golf Club was initially built in the year 1827, but underwent major renovation and was re-designed by Peter Thompson. The golf course is not a very difficult course, with the width as well as the length being just perfect. Still, it is not at all easy to break par here.

Situated off the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, at the foothills of Aravallis, the golf course is spread over an area of 300 acre.
