  • 1 fresh Lime (Cut in Half)
  • ½ cup low fat Sour Cream
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • ½ cup low fat Mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp Ground Coriander
  • ½ tsp dried Dill Weed
  • ½ tsp Capers (Minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh Cilantro (Chopped)
  • ½ tsp ground Coriander
  • 1 hot Pepper (Seeded and Minced)
  • ¼ tsp ground Chipotle Chilli Powder
  • Whisk together sour cream and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Squeeze in lime juice into the mixture once it turns smooth.
  • Mix well and check the consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add some more lime juice or if it is runny add some more sour cream.
  • Add all the spices into the mixture and stir well; add pepper, capers and cilantro.
  • Cover the bowl with a lid and keep it in refrigerator for an hour.

  • Lemon juice from one lemon
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Capers (Optional)
  • 1 Lemon’s Zest
  • 2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 2 tbsp Caper Juice
  • Add the lemon zest to the mayonnaise and mix well.
  • Stir garlic salt and caper juice in the mixture.
  • Make sure that the mixture is not too thick. You can add in capers if you wish.
Fish Taco Sauce With Yogurt


  • Freshly cut Lime Halves
  • ½ cup Plain Yogurt
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • 2 ripe Avocados (Peeled and Pitted)
  • 1 tbsp Low Fat Mayonnaise
  • Cilantro to taste (Freshly Chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Chilli Powder

  • Add plain yogurt, mayonnaise and sour cream and blend well in an electric mixer for about 2 minutes.
  • Squeeze in half a lemon and then check the consistency of the mixture. If the mixture is still thick, add more lime juice.
  • Add avocado, cilantro and chilli powder into the mixer and blend together for 4-5 minutes at low-speed. Transfer the sauce into a bowl once it is done.
  • Stir in salt and freshly grounded pepper to add to the taste. Refrigerate the fish taco sauce for at least ½ an hour before serving.
