The scenario of Indian cinema is fast changing, with the run-of-the-mill stories being a thing of the past. It has given way to a much diversified section, where there various kinds of movies are being made, to suit the taste of all kinds of people. An important part of the entertainment industry is the world of animation, which finally seems to have received the kind of attention it deserved. With more and more animated movies being produced, people are sure to get a taste of something novel in the world of Indian movies.
 
The latest venture into the animation area of the entertainment industry is the movie 'Cheeti Cheeti Bang Bang', made under the banner 'Elecom Fiesta Entertainment Pvt. Ltd'. The movie is directed by R. D. Mallik ,with Shantanu Pal being the animation director. The music of 'Cheeti Cheeti Bang Bang' is given by Jeet. Popular singers like Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Sudesh Bhosle and Ustad Rashid Khan have sung to the lyrics of Nida Fazil. The movie, due for a release on 10th October, has big names such as Ashish Vidyarthi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asrani and Anjan Srivastva, among others, for voice overs.
 
'Cheeti Cheeti Bang Bang' is all the usual fight between love and hatred. However, the twist in the tale is that the love and hatred, which the movie talks about, is between the two kingdoms of ants. The story is set amidst the backdrop of a dilapidated bungalow, where both the ant kingdoms - that of the red ants and the rival black ants, is located. The story starts when Laal Budda (old ant) is charged of harassing Kalibua, a hand maiden of Kaali Rani (queen of black ants). On hearing this, Kaali Rani insists the Kaala Raja (king of black ants) to behead Laal Budda.
 
Laal Raja (king of red ants) takes this charge as an impudent act on part of the Kaala Raja and attacks his kingdom. Mighty Girgit (chameleon)...and Frog enter the scene, as the supporters of Kaala Raja. Laal Raja also calls upon his supporters, including the magical Beyallis Karma. However, these supporters join the fight with some vested interests in their minds. To add to the confusion, Lohit 'the Laal Prince' (prince of red ants) falls in love with Krishna 'the Kaala Princess' (princess of black ants) and the two elope. The movie is sure to be a good respite from the regular ones, promising to be an entertaining family package.
