Easy Salmon Croquettes Recipes 

Classic Salmon Croquette 

You Will Need
  • 250 g Salmon (drained)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • Oil for shallow-frying 
  • Firstly, you will have to remove the skin and bones from the salmon.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg and add breadcrumbs, onions, salt, and pepper. Add the salmon to the bowl too.
  • Shape the salmon in patties about 2 inches in diameter.
  • Fry the salmon patties in oil until both sides turn golden brown.
  • Sprinkle the salmon patties with oil and serve. 

Salmon Croquette With Corn

You Will Need
  • 450 g Salmon (drained and flaked)
  • 1 cup Corn Kernels (canned or cooked)
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 Eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 2 tbsp Red Bell Pepper (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Onions (finely chopped)
  • A dash of Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Bread Crumbs
  • Oil for shallow-frying
  • Begin by adding the corn kernels, ketchup, red bell peppers, onions, pepper, salt and breadcrumbs to the eggs. Mix well.
  • Combine flaked salmon with the resultant mixture.
  • Shape the entire mixture into 12 patties or into any other desired number.
  • You will need a heavy skillet for this step. Once you’ve got that, heat oil in it and fry salmon croquettes for about 1-2 minutes on each side. You will have to fry the croquettes until they turn golden brown on each side.
  • Serve hot and if desired, serve along with cucumber sauce or cheese sauce. 

Salmon Croquette With Green Onions 

You Will Need
  • 450 g Pink Salmon (drained)
  • 1 Egg
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Green Onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder (heaped)
  • 1/4 cup Drained Salmon Juice
  • Oil for shallow-frying 
  • Beat the egg and add the salmon to it. Here, you will also have to stir in the sifted flour.
  • Now add pepper, onions, and Worcestershire sauce to the egg and salmon.
  • Add baking powder to the drained salmon juice and beat until it turns foamy.
  • Pour the foamy juice into the bowl containing the salmon. Mix well.
  • Heat oil in a heavy skillet and drop salmon by the spoonfuls into the same.
  • Fry until each side turns golden brown.
