Easy Salmon Croquettes Recipes
You Will Need
- 250 g Salmon (drained)
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 Onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- Oil for shallow-frying
Method
- Firstly, you will have to remove the skin and bones from the salmon.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg and add breadcrumbs, onions, salt, and pepper. Add the salmon to the bowl too.
- Shape the salmon in patties about 2 inches in diameter.
- Fry the salmon patties in oil until both sides turn golden brown.
- Sprinkle the salmon patties with oil and serve.
Salmon Croquette With Corn
You Will Need
- 450 g Salmon (drained and flaked)
- 1 cup Corn Kernels (canned or cooked)
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 2 Eggs (slightly beaten)
- 2 tbsp Red Bell Pepper (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Onions (finely chopped)
- A dash of Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup Bread Crumbs
- Oil for shallow-frying
Method
- Begin by adding the corn kernels, ketchup, red bell peppers, onions, pepper, salt and breadcrumbs to the eggs. Mix well.
- Combine flaked salmon with the resultant mixture.
- Shape the entire mixture into 12 patties or into any other desired number.
- You will need a heavy skillet for this step. Once you’ve got that, heat oil in it and fry salmon croquettes for about 1-2 minutes on each side. You will have to fry the croquettes until they turn golden brown on each side.
- Serve hot and if desired, serve along with cucumber sauce or cheese sauce.
Salmon Croquette With Green Onions
You Will Need
- 450 g Pink Salmon (drained)
- 1 Egg
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Green Onions (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Baking Powder (heaped)
- 1/4 cup Drained Salmon Juice
- Oil for shallow-frying
Method
- Beat the egg and add the salmon to it. Here, you will also have to stir in the sifted flour.
- Now add pepper, onions, and Worcestershire sauce to the egg and salmon.
- Add baking powder to the drained salmon juice and beat until it turns foamy.
- Pour the foamy juice into the bowl containing the salmon. Mix well.
- Heat oil in a heavy skillet and drop salmon by the spoonfuls into the same.
- Fry until each side turns golden brown.
