First of all, carefully stick the whole cloves into the apple.

Now mix the grounded allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon well and add it to the clove studded apple and apple cider in a pan.

The pan should be placed on low heat. Allow the mixture to simmer for some time. This would let the spices to get imbibed into the apple cider.

Now, take the pan off the heat and toss the apple pieces away.

The spiced cider can either be strained or spooned into mugs now.

With a comfortable serves of 8 mugs, you can garnish it with a cinnamon stick and a thin slice of orange.

First of all, using either a knife or vegetable peeler, remove the strips of orange peel.

Now heat the saucepan and place 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter in it.

When the butter begins to melt, add the orange peel, sugar, allspice, cloves and 3 cinnamon sticks.

Mix all these ingredients well and place them over medium heat for a minute or two. Now add the apple cider to the mixture and allow it to steam.

First of all, pour the heavy cream into a saucepan and mix the brown sugar into it.

Now place the pan over medium heat and allow the mixture to boil.

When the mixture just begins to boil, add the apple cider and increase the heat to medium high.

Now stir the mixture well and within few minutes, the apple cider would begin to steam.

Prepare the caramel whipped cream by pouring the heavy cream into a small chilled bowl and add the brown sugar to it. Continue whipping the cream until it forms soft peaks.

Now, pour the cider into mugs and garnish it with two tablespoons of the caramel whipped cream.
