Design
Grandiose and ostentatious - these words mark the designing and styling of Endeavour Thunder. It has a bold and tough style, which gives it a commanding presence on road. Flaunting a length of about 4998 mm, it can be tagged as the biggest SUV on road. The façade of the SUV boasts of a distinctive style, with its high bonnet and super grand size. To top it, the automobile is festooned with a large, bold and sporty-looking grille as well as multi-reflector headlamps. The automobile also boasts of alloy wheels, a fifth door mirror that comes in handy at the time of parking or reversing and a hard top cover for the extra tyre.
Just like its predecessor, Endeavour Thunder shows off the mud flaps and wheel moldings along with fashionable roof rails. Silver side-steps run along the length of the vehicle, accentuating its brute quality. In sync with the stylish exterior, the car forwards an imposing interior, what with comfortable seating arrangement, upholstered leather, flexible seating, in-car DVD system and SATNAV system. Engine
Endeavour Thunder comes with two engine options - 3.0 Litre TDCi with VGT (Variable Geometry Turbocharger) and 2.5 Litre TDCi with VGT. The former promises a maximum power of 156 PS (115 Kw) @ 3200rpm and a torque of about 380 Nm (38.7 kgm) @ 2500rpm, with a displacement of 2953 cc. The 2.5L engine on the other hand has a maximum power of 143 PS (105 Kw) @ 3500rpm and a maximum torque of 330 Nm (33.7 kgm) @ 1800rpm, with a displacement of 2499 cc. Both the variants are powered by the DOHC, 16 Valves. The all-new automatic transmission transfers all the whopping power from the 3.0 L engine to the wheels effortlessly.
Safety
Both the models of this stunning SUV have standard cutting-edge theft protection feature, passive anti-theft system (PATS), which prevents the engine from being started with an incorrectly coded key. In case of inserting an incorrect coded key, engine would automatically shut off fuel to the fuel injection system within two seconds. The automobile boasts of amazing safety features, such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-Force Distribution for added safety on uneven terrain. The SUV also comes equipped with dual front airbags, shock absorbers with increased diameter, repairable breakaway front bumper system, engine immobilizer, child-proof rear door locks, fuel tank shields and seat belts for all seven occupants. A unique feature of the vehicle is the high visibility "command" driving position, which makes way for better visibility while driving.

Though there are no variants for the mighty Endeavour Thunder, the automobile comes in two engine variants, as has been mentioned above. The SUV is available in a range of five colors including, Sea Grey, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Morello and Panther Black. The launch price of this sturdy beast is a whopping Rs. 17, 32,000.
