  • Traditionally, calendula has been used to treat various ailments like colitis, swollen glands, and pelvic inflammatory diseases.
  • The plant is used to treat indigestion and also increase the production of bile. It is also very good in healing gastric ulcers.
  • Menstrual disorders and problems can be treated with calendula. It has been used since ages for those suffering from irregular menstrual cycle.
  • It is very effective in treating various types of skin problems like eczema, ringworm and yeast infections, herpes and athlete’s foot. In addition, it can be used to treat conjunctivitis, varicose veins and various minor injuries.
