Ginger
Take half a teaspoon of ginger powder and mix it with the same quantity of pepper powder and powdered cloves. Combine the mixture together with a little honey (to give the mixture a better taste) and take it at least three times a day. The combination of these spices will help clear the congestion in the throat, regularize metabolism and help subdue the fever that may accompany bronchitis.

Eucalyptus Oil
Eucalyptus oil is of great help to someone suffering from bronchitis. It prevents the phlegm from sticking to the air passages, eases breathing and reduces the congestion in the throat. The best way to use eucalyptus oil is to put a few drops of it on a handkerchief and keep breathing from it from time to time.
 
Spinach
Spinach is very healthy as it contains a lot of iron. It is especially good for the eyes but can also be used as a home remedy in the treatment of bronchitis. Mix some ammonium chloride, spinach and a teaspoon of honey in about 250ml of water and boil it. Drinking this brew helps in bringing out the phlegm and other irritants from the throat and lungs.
 
Turmeric
The anti bacterial properties of turmeric help a lot when it comes to curing bronchitis. Take a teaspoon full of turmeric powder and add it to a glass of milk (about 250 ml). Boil the milk and strain it before setting it to cool. Once the milk has reached room temperature, drink it. For best results, have at least two glasses of milk with turmeric every day.
 
Almonds
Almonds are considered to be one of the best remedies for bronchitis because they are full of nutrients and vitamins like Vitamin A, E, B6, B12, C and D. It is generally said that almonds consumed in any form are helpful. However, the best way to consume almonds during bronchitis would be to grind them to a powder and mix it with some orange or lemon juice.
