Easy Birthday Cake Recipes
Red Velvet Cake
  • 2½ cups Self-rising Flour
  • 1½ cups White Sugar
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp distilled White Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 oz Red Food Coloring
  • 1 (8 oz) package Cream Cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup Butter (softened)
  • 4 cups Confectioners' Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Pecans (chopped)
  • Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  • Grease 3 8-inch round pans and dust them flour.
  • Combine sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl. Whisk to blend all the contents well.
  • Add red food coloring and white vinegar to buttermilk. Mix well and set aside.

  • 1 cup cold strong Brewed Coffee

  • 1¼ cups Confectioners' Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tbsp unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  • Butter a 13'x9 inch baking pan lightly.
  • Dust the pan with flour and tap off the excess flour.
  • Sift together flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into a medium mixing bowl.
  • Make a well in the center of the bowl.
  • Take another bowl and combine together mayonnaise, coffee, and vanilla. Whisk them to get a smooth mixture.
