Casa Mila
One of the most famous and imposing structures in Barcelona, the Casa Mila, also known as La Pedrera was designed by the famous architect, Gaudi. It took five years to be completed (1905-1910) and the nickname La Pedrera means ‘quarry’. This was with reference to the grey stone that was used to build the frontage. Today, the structure houses a museum which exhibits the fantastic works of Gaudi and allows tourists to explore the legend freely. During evenings in weekends in summers, the rooftop is usually lit up with bulbs and visitors are allowed to go up and enjoy a beautiful panorama of the fascinating city below.
 
Barcelona Zoo
The Barcelona zoo is a must-see tourist attraction, irrespective of your age and interest. This vast zoo houses over 7000 animals, which belong to over 500 species. The star attraction of the zoo is a fascinating albino gorilla, the only one in captivity, which is named Snowflake! L'Aquàrium
