Some Tips To Keep In Mind

  • Sometimes guests will forget to write their names in the given blank. You may solve this problem by numbering your guests in the list, and discreetly write the numbers at the back of the response. This will be useful in tracing out who sent you the reply card.
  • Always write an ‘M’ and leave a space so that the guests may fill it as ‘Mr.’, ‘Mrs.’ Or ‘Ms.’ while sending the response card back to you.
  • At times you may leave a blank space behind the card where people may write some funny, interesting things to you.
  • Sometimes guests may assume that a few of their friends may tag along with them for the wedding. In order to avoid that, you add a line as “___ of ___ guest (s) will attend”. Some may find it unpleasant. But it will clearly state the point you are making.
  • At times you may paste a postage stamp to make it easy for the guests on the response cards and even write your address on it. You may also fix the date as it reaches two weeks before the wedding, so that you may make changes if necessary.
