Simply Soapy
A great way to clean your eye glasses is to treat it to mild soap water. Just take water in a bowl, add a few drops of liquid dish washer to it and mix well. Hold your eyeglass over the bowl and gently dip your lenses into it, swirling slowly. Cleaning your eyeglasses with warm soapy water will help you to do away with any small and harsh remnants. After you have washed your glasses, use a clean cotton cloth to dab it dry. Be gentle on your glass when cleaning, as extra pressure can cause it to crack.

Did you know that alcohol is a great cleaning agent that works wonder on your eyeglass? All you have to do is to fill a spray bottle with 3 tbsp of rubbing alcohol, a few drops of vinegar and lots of water. Shake well. Next time when your eyeglass gets fuzzy, all you have to do is to spray the solution on one side of the lenses and then wipe it dry with a soft cotton cloth.

Foggy glasses can cause you much irritation and blur your vision. Get rid of the smudge on your lenses by treating it to steam preventative solution. For this you will need a bar of Castile soap (soap made from olive oil), one tbsp of glycerin and a half of a tsp of sassafras oil. Cut the soap into tiny pieces and put it in a small pan together with water, just enough to cover the water. Bring it to boil, while stirring continuously, till the soap is fully dissolved. Add the glycerin and the sassafras oil to it and stir for a minute. Now, remove it from heat. Allow the solution to cool before storing it in a bottle. When using it on glasses, just dab a little solution to your lenses, and gently wipe it with a soft clean cotton cloth, polishing it gently till squeaky clean.
 
Tips 
  • Never use tissues, toilet paper, paper towels or even newsprint to clean your glasses, since they can leave scratches on your glasses.
  • When using a cloth to wipe your glasses, go for a clean and dry cloth. A dirty cloth would only cause your glass to scratch.
  • Never use any cloth that has been treated with fabric softener to clean your glasses, as they are likely to cause your glass to smudge.
  • Never lay your glasses face down, as this would prevent scratching of the lenses.
  • Remove your glasses with both hands to prevent bending the frame.
  • Always store your glasses in a hard case.
