Natural Remedies For Age Spots

  • Chop an onion and blend it in a food processor. Put the blended onion in a cheese cloth and squeeze it to extract the juice. Now mix equal part of the onion juice with equal part of apple cider vinegar. Soak a cotton ball in the mixture and dab it directly on the age spots. Let it set for 30 minutes and then wash. Do this once a day until the spots start to fade.
  • Take three tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a mug full of water. Drink this twice a day for a period of two months. The age spots will start to fade and also give the skin a new glowing look. You can sweeten the drink by adding a tablespoon of honey.
  • Aloe vera gel is an excellent remedy for age spots. Twice a day rub the gel on the age spots and leave it to set for 45 minutes. Apply the gel for at least a month for the age spots to start fading.
  • The citric acid in lemon juice helps in fading the age spots. Squeeze a lemon to extract the juice. Soak a cotton ball in the lemon juice and dab it on the age spots. Leave it for 30 minutes or overnight. Apply the lemon juice twice a day and for a period of one month.
  • Rub the skin affected with age spots with castor oil, once in the morning and then in the evening. Within a month, the spots will start to fade.
  • Bleach containing lactic acid helps in removing age spots, as it removes the upper layer of the dead skin faster. So, apply the bleach on the age spots.
  • Remove the skin of a few cloves of fresh garlic and blend it in a blender. Then strain the juice using a strainer. Dip a cotton ball in the juice and dab it on the age spots. Apply the juice twice a day for a period of two months.
  • Slice a red onion and rub it on the age spots. Do this daily and it will help in fading the age spots.
