Parenting is an ordeal in itself, just ask your parents and you’ll know. But being a single parent and especially being a single mother is the ordeal of ordeals. How do you raise and take care of a child and at the same time manage your expenses when your better half is not around? It’s a question nobody has been able to answer and have been too afraid to even ponder about. But mothers around the world are not just doing it, but setting standards and proving the much popular adage that mothers, indeed are everywhere because God himself couldn’t be. Women are no longer doing it because they have no other choice - divorce, death, left alone, or too uninvolved - but they are doing it for the happiness they get out of raising a child on their own. Yes, it’s their choice. It’s a trend - many women are turning to being single moms, just to partake in a child’s upbringing and by being an important part of their life. Some even decide to stay single and just give into the joys of fostering a child and watch him/her grow. And if you were to ask each of those children, they’ll swear by, that they never felt incomplete without their dads. We bow down in respect to all you single mothers out there and present some quotations in your honor. Continue doing the great job that you are doing!
