Dog Food Recipes
Doggy Fish Dinner
Ingredients:
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 can of salmon (bones removed)
- 1 potato
- 3 Tbsp cornmeal
- 1 carrot
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 stick celery

Wash Salmon and cut into many pieces. Make a mixture consist of eggs, cornmeal and salmon. Make it a patty and coat it with a little more cornmeal. This should be fried in canola oil until it gets brown on both sides. Boil some vegetables which you want to add in it, cut it into tiny pieces mix it with salmon egg mixture and again chop it thoroughly. You can add cheese to the final product if you want some moisture.
Meaty Dog Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 2 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 8 to 10 tablespoons water
- 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 jars baby food meat, strained

Kneading is the main thing in this recipe. You should mix all ingredients together and knead for a few minutes. Now, the kneaded mixture should be rolled out to about 1/2 inch thick. Give it some shape by using dog bone shaped cookie cutter, and place them on an ungreased baking sheet. You get fantastic meaty dog biscuits after baking it in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min.
Chicken Liver Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup cooked chicken liver, chopped
- 2 cups Flour
- 3 tbs. Vegetable oil
- 1 cup wheat germ or cornmeal if wheat allergies are a problem
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tsp. parsley
Directions:
Mix egg with oil in a bowl and add chicken broth and parsley for spicy effect. Mix these ingredients well in that bowl. Take another bowl and combine flour and wheat germ. Add this mixture to the previous bowl a little by little and stir it properly. Put the chicken liver pieces in it and mix well. The firm dough will form. Knead it for a little time. You can roll that dough ½” thick and cut into shapes. Place those cookies on a greased cookie sheet 1” apart. Bake it for fifteen to twenty minutes at 400 F till it gets firm. Chicken liver cookies are ready. You can keep them in refrigerator.
Savory Turkey
Ingredients
- 2 cups brown rice
- 6 cups water
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ (16 ounce) package frozen broccoli, carrots and cauliflower combination
Directions
Put ground turkey, rice and dried rosemary into a large pan. Pour some water in it. Stir it until the turkey meat is blended with other ingredients. Boil the mixture to a high heat level. After some time, lower the heat and keep it on for 25 minutes. After adding the vegetable pieces, cook it for 5 more minutes. Delicious homemade savory turkey is ready to serve.
