SGH E250 is one of the sleek slider phones launched by Samsung in India. Priced at Rs 5500, the phone was unveiled keeping in mind the mid-budget buyers, who want a camera phone at low price. The best part of the phone is that it combines all the basic features demanded by a buyer, namely FM, MP3 Player, Camera, Video Recording, Bluetooth, Expandable Memory and Sleek Design, that too at an affordable price. So now, you will not have to compromise on anything, even if your budget is not anywhere near Rs 10K.
Look and Design
As far as looks are concerned, Samsung SGH E-250 doesn’t leave you asking for more. The mobile phone has the latest slide design and at only 81 gm, is light to carry. Till now, all the slider phones in the same price range were too big and bulky. This is the only one that promises you style, along with affordability. E250 comes in three colors, silver, black & sapphire blue (the latest one). The buttons are easy to use & have been kept to the minimum. The only problem is that there is no shortcut to launch the camera or music player, except navigation keys.
Features
SGH E250 comes packed with lots of features. Its built-in MP3/AAC player, 3GP/MP4 video player and FM radio tuner never lets the music go out of your life. You can even store your favorite numbers in the memory card. You can set MP3 tunes for your ringtone, but for that you will have to copy them to the phone from the memory card. The sound quality is not too bad, though the volume is not too high. The mobile tracker has been packed into the E250 too, making sure that nobody gets away with your phone.
The camera of E-250 is the basic VGA one, which can go up to a maximum of 640x480 pixels. However, there is no LED flash, so you will not be able to take pictures in dark. As far as the clarity is concerned, it is pretty decent. The battery is pretty good and can last for 2-3, with moderate use. It also has a large display, USB, EDGE, emergency SOS alert and privacy lock. All in all, Samsung SGH E250 is a phone that has a lot of good and a few negative features. However, for a price under Rs 6000, it surely is a phone worth buying.
