LG Shine

Riding high on the success of the initial handset ‘LG Chocolate phone’ from the Black Label Series, the LG Electronics Company recently added another trendy handset ‘LG Shine’ to this collection. Already a hit in the markets across the world, the LG Shine mobile phone is India’s foremost and the only complete metal-bodied phone featuring a Multi Function Scroll Key. Grandly launched by LG India Company, it was announced that the LG Shine will be available in the market both in a slider phone (Rs 15,999) as well as the bar phone (Rs 8,999) versions.

It was also underscored that LG eyed India as among its key markets where it saw ample potential to prosper. Being the second phone from the Black Label Series, it is expected that the LG Shine that combines the best of design and technology too will be successful in capturing the market and the heart of consumers. With LG Shine cell phone, the Indian chapter of the parent company seeks to become the top three premium handsets in the country and boost their GSM market share to 3.41 per cent by 2008’s first quarter.

Owned by celebrities such as Madonna, Pierce Brosnan and Kelly Osborne, the full metal-bodied and ultra slim LG Shine phone is designed to look sophisticated and classy. The ‘Styled in Metal’ model gives an absolutely unique appearance and feel to it. When shut LG Shine looks really stylish, whereas the fetching reflective 2.2 inches wide mirror LCD screen amazingly alters into a high-quality color screen when the handset is activated. Another eye-catching feature is that the Shine’s keys are enveloped in a cool blue light.

With a 13.8 mm Shine Slider and 9.9 mm Shine Bar, the ultra slim and chic design of LG Shine handset seems to challenge its high-tech functionality that comprises a 2 mega-pixel auto focus camera (by Schneider Kreuznach) and flexible memory (Micro SD card). You can view Shine’s menu system easily by a multi-purpose scroll key. The new LG Shine also boasts of an integrated media player having multi-codec support (MP3, WAV and ACC++). Shine is GPRS and EDGE network compatible and also has Bluetooth and USB connection.
