The bike is targeted at the general mass who wants a good bike which is affordable. Now for the surprise! The bike is priced at a really affordable Rs. 20,000. Xenitis was the same company that launched India’s first laptop that was priced under Rs. 20,000.

The two-wheeler factory that was set-up in West Bengal this year has a capacity to churn out approximately 90,000 units every month. Right now, a 125cc bike called Xpression is being manufactured here and some 30,000 two-wheelers are being manufactured every month. Already, 10,000 units of Xpression have been sold out and the plan is to export bikes to Middle East, Russia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and some African countries. The new bike Rock100 already has an advance booking of 1,60,000 units and will be available with around 350 motor dealers. The bike is equipped with attractive features like 4-stroke engine, electronic self start and kick start facility, tachometer, gear indicator, aerodynamic headlight with halogen bulbs. But what will attract the masses are the low price and its powerful mileage - 115 kmpl. The bike looks pretty contemporary to match the urban tastes.
