After some snags and delays, Microsoft India is finally going to launch its online gaming console Xbox Live in India in November this year. As Diwali gift, the company has made the use of Xbox Live available to all users who can easily log on to test the sample for free. To avail the gaming facility, there’s the Silver subscription that’s for free as well as another paid Gold membership.
Microsoft India targets to sing up approximately 100 million users for the new Xbox LIVE service over a period of next five years. Interested people can now log on to Xbox Live not only for the game, but also get a hearty dose of entertainment with special Indian content like previews of Hanuman Returns and other films. Microsoft India has collaborated with Seventymm, a movie rentals company that will allow people to rent the recent Xbox 360 games.
