A wide range of masks, decorative items, handmade knick-knacks, etc. are showcased here, along with the music and dance of West Bengal.
The Surajkund Mela 2008 has been organized by the Haryana Tourism and is held near Faridabad. Visitors can’t help but be mesmerized by the wide variety of crafts and the rich culture of rural India. The festival was held for the first time in the year 1981 and since then, there has been no looking back. The entire preparation of this fair is done keeping in mind the theme of a particular state. This is what marvels visitors, as even one single state has a diverse culture that can be used to decorate an entire fair! The open air theater and the musical extravaganza held every evening are an added attraction.
