A new variant of Skoda’s best selling model has been launched in India. The Skoda Laura Ambiente is Skoda’s third variant in the Laura platform. Priced at Rs. 13,65,296, this car redefines style, luxury and power. Laura Ambiente is available in four colors: Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Satin Grey and Corrida Red. The car has been tested under international norms for safety and is equipped with features like two airbags, traction control system (ABS + ASR), rear parking sensors with Parktronic display and automatic wipers with rain sensors.
In order to make this car available to more and more people across the country, Skoda plans to add four more dealers in its list and make it around 65 in 2008. With the launch of Laura Ambiente, there are 15 variants that are being offered by Skoda India. Right now, the Skoda Laura Ambiente is available in a diesel version. The seating capacity is 5 persons and there is enough leg and head room. The overall mileage expected from this car is around 12.8 km/liter. This car is designed very stylishly and makes heads turn when it zooms on the roads. Though the price may be a bit on the higher side, it is a must buy for those who love to travel in the lap of comfortable luxury.
