Breakfast Bread Pudding
 
Ingredients:
  • 12 slices of white bread
  • 1 package cream cheese, cubed
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 
Directions:
Remove the crusts from bread and cut it into cubes. Toss the bread lightly with cream cheese cubes by placing them in a greased baking pan. In a separate mixing bowl, beat eggs. To this, add milk, maple syrup, salt and mix well. Pour this mixture over the bread. Cover it and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Remove the bread from refrigerator, half an hour before baking. Bake the breads uncovered at 375 degrees F for 40 - 45 minutes. To check if it’s cooked, insert a knife near the center. If it comes out clean it is done. Leave it unattended for 5 minutes before cutting.
 
Baked Apple French Toast
 
Ingredients:  
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 loaf French bread, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 
Directions:
In the night melt butter and stir in brown sugar as well as corn syrup. Spread this mixture at the bottom of a baking pan and arrange apple slices over it. On top of apples, place bread slices. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until they are light. Now add milk and vanilla to the beaten eggs. Pour this mixture evenly over bread. Cover the dish and refrigerate over night. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake the bread uncovered for about 40 minutes until it turns golden brown. Serve with syrup.
 
French Toast Souffle
 
Ingredients:  
  • 16 slices of bread, cubed
  • 2 packages cream cheese, cubed
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 cups half and half cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • powdered sugar
  • fresh strawberries (optional) 
Directions:
Take a casserole dish and lay alternate layers of bread cubes and cream cheese. In another bowl, combine eggs, cream, vanilla and cinnamon and beat well. Pour this mixture over bread and cream cheese. Bake the bread at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes. After this, cover the bread with maple syrup and powdered sugar. Garnish with fresh strawberries on the top and serve.
