Seems like iPhones are going to take over the Indian cell phone market soon enough. Samsung has just released its new smart phone in the country, i450. Sleek looks, slider design, excellent features and user-friendly keys, that’s Samsung i 450 for you! In other words, you can say that the phone has almost everything that an average user would ask for. The best part is that the mobile phone has been built in such a way that you will find almost no problem in switching from one feature to the other.
Design
As far as the looks are concerned, i450 is one of the slickest and the most stylish mobile phones in the kitty of Samsung. Though with dimensions of 101 x 52 x 17.8 mm, it is not too compact, it has sexy looks nonetheless. The phone’s TFT, 256K color display supports 240 x 320 pixels. Being a slider phone, it has the basic keys and music touch controls on the outside. As you slide it up, the numeric keypad is revealed. Right now, Samsung i450 is available in a very striking blue and white color scheme. Features
Samsung i450 has almost all the features one could ask for, in a smartphone. Apart from the usual 2G Network, it also supports HSDPA 2100 (3G Network). It comes equipped with Symbian OS 9.2 and has all the message features, including SMS, MMS, EMS and E-mail. The phone supports Bluetooth technology and also has a v2.0 USB port. Talking about players, i450 supports WMA/MP3/AAC/AAC+/OGG/ASF music formats and WMV/3GP/H.263/MPEG4 video formats.
The camera, with 2 MP resolution, does not offer you anything out of the ordinary, though it does support videocall. The happy news is that there is a secondary VGA camera too, for those who like to take their own picture. An excellent feature of the phone is that it has support for Assisted GPS, meaning it can tell your location by connecting to the nearby cellular towers or other cell phones. Other features of Samsung i450 are Class 10 GPRS, Class 10 EDGE, Java MIDP 2.0, FM Radio and a Video Editor.
